Getting to La Loma Jungle Lodge is an adventure in itself, but it’s easier than you think! Our eco-lodge is nestled in the heart of Isla Bastimentos, Bocas del Toro, Panama, and is only accessible by boat, ensuring a secluded and immersive experience in nature.
If you’re traveling from the USA, you’ll first fly into Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City. From there, you can take a domestic flight to Bocas del Toro (BOC) with Air Panama from Albrook Airport (PAC). Upon arrival in Bocas Town, a short 10-minute water taxi ride will bring you to Bahía Honda on Isla Bastimentos, where our team will be waiting to welcome you and guide you to La Loma.
Our private boat leaves from Bocas Docks in Bocas Town on the main island (Isla Colon) at 4 pm. If you arrive early, Bocas Docks can store your bags for you. JJ’s Restaurant, next door to Bocas Docks, is a great option for a drink or snack while you are waiting for the boat.
